Baby Devil Dolls
Dear God, these are gross!
Like the Freddy Kruger version of Cabbage Patch Kids, this Gallery of Devil babies is a site best viewed on an empty stomach.
That's not gonna stop using them as my buddy icons in Trillian next week though!
Spot the Difference
Cool little on-line spot the difference game - kept me pretty amused for ten minutes.
Gross! Low Flying Deer.
'Take care dear.'
'Pardon?'
'I said "Take care - DEER!"'
But why was the deer flying so low?
(warning quite gross image and NSFW banner ads on page)
Brains4Zombies.com -- Your online home for Brains and Brain-Related Products
It's Halloween and you're a hungry Zombie. You can't eat at MacDonalds since (as far as I know) they don't yet serve McCerebellum so what's a ghoul to do? Maybe you could try Brains4Zombies.com a site described as 'your online home for Brains and Brain-Related Products'. Problem sorted!

Lunch Hour Crypto Challenge
Being an inquisitive geek, I have an interest in codes, cryptography and cracking (from a purely educational point of view of course). We've already featured some good sites for learning the basics (like CyberArmy or Hackquest) but there's a new competition out there on the thawte site. It's probably a bit hard for most of you guys (and me!) but why not try the Lunch Hour Challenge. Of course, if you can do it in your lunch hour then I'll be very impressed!
Attack of the Zombie Pumpkins!
More pumpkin carving ready for tomorrow night - Zombie pumpkins have a load of stencils (as .pdf files) to download. The oddest one I found was the stencil of Thom Yorke from Radiohead, although I'm not denying it would scare the local kids away.
Extreme Pumpkins
Here's a cool topical link for tomorrow night - Extreme Pumpkin Carving using powertools, pyrotechnics or an axe to the (pumpkin) head.
What are the Odds of Dying in an Unusual Manner?
Did you know that you have a 1 in 55 million chance of dying from a flood in the UK in the next year? Or maybe that, within your lifetime, you have a 1 in 400,000 chance of dying from 'Ignition or melting of nightwear' (lucky I sleep commando then really!*)
All these stats from the National Safety Council of the UK.
(*sorry for sharing that)

Gadget to control Traffic lights
I need one of these traffic light gadgets - just as long as no-one else has one then I should be able to drive all the way to waork without stopping. Whcih reminds me - why not pop over to Italianjob2003 and give support or donations to Rich from Funjunkie who's doing a charity drive for the next couple of weeks.
UK MPs vote to downgrade cannabis
News just in from the BBC that UK MPs have voted to downgrade cannabis to a class C drug meaning that the police only have the right to confiscate your stash and give you a warning (what, like 'next time I'm going to really confiscate it and give you a more serious warning!').
Can't think why that story would be of interest to me though.
Prince of Persia: Mini-game
If, like me, you were an amiga nut if your youth (or even if you just like good online games) then you'll love Prince of Persia the Mini-game. It's just as frustrating as I remember.
Coffin Case Mod
I can't find any more info about this case mod at the moment but I'll keep looking because it's a beautiful, if unusual, piece of work. TheCoffin Case has pc and monitor built in. Outstanding work!
Toilets in computer games
Russian websites are fast becoming as odd as Japanese ones these days - for proof, have a look at this site all about toilets in computer games. Just that, nothing else, merely lots of screenshots of various bogs in games.
Boots.com - great Easter Egg
Have a *close* look at this pic:
No wonder Jules always looks so happy!
(ta Carlos)
*edit* - Seems Boots finally found this 'error' and have corrected it. I still had the original in my cache (not a good idea at work!) so here's what you missed.

sexyfurniture
Mario Philippona makes wooden sexy furniture. Which reminds me of a pr0n version of Pinnochio I saw once...but that's another story.
(Not sure how where the 'virgina' is but it can't be that hard to find!)
Bomb alert over 'farting' dog
Dave Rogerson has now learnt a very importnant lesson. American aiport staff have zero sense of humour. Novelty 'farting' dogs could really be a bomb and thus must be taken seriously. Which ruins my plans for exporting fake dog poo to the USA.
BeatBox.TV
If you've ever wanted to be a human BeatBox then this site is for you. Max is a rubber-lipped freak who takes you through the fine art of BeatBoxing step-by-step. Just leave the main page open (after you've entered the site) and watch Max run through Hip Hop, Drum 'n' Bass and House music like the seasoned Pro that he is.
'That Bulldog Incident'
Bulldog are a computer security company. To highlight their passion for securing your computer they made this advert. Maybe next time, you'll reconsider when someone tells you not to touch their computer. (caution video is NSFW)

Collection of ex-wife's 26 Beanie Babies
This eBay auction made me laugh - it's for a Collection of 26 Beanie Babies from the guy's ex-wife. He wants rid of them so he can buy tools which sounds like a fantastic swap but clearly other Beanie Baby freaks just can't quite understand him.
osh-kosh case mod
Regular readers will be aware of our fondness for unusual computer case modifications. One of the recent ones that has come onto my radar is the Osh-Kosh vanity case.
Case modding in general is summed up well by this quote from the article,
'Traveling with the luggage has made going through airport security much more interesting for Dustin. His favorite security guard comment, made while giving the Osh-Kosh a plastic explosives "swab" test: "A computer? Why'd you do that?" then, before he could answer, he continued: "Because you could, right?". Dustin smiled and nodded.'
The Silicon Graphics Refrigerator Project
This is an old classic and one that I've seen done on other systems like Sun Microsystems servers but for those of you who haven't seen quite how geeky some people get, here's the Silicon Graphics Refrigerator Project.
Batty Cheese
I just love the artwork on Kazumi Nonaka's site but what on earth is 'Batty Cheese'? It sounds really nasty!
Desperation is a Terrible Thing
Whether this is a good example of entrepreneurism or merely desperation, I'm not sure but whatever, this eBay item is very topical - rotten eggs for Halloween!
