Flipflopflyin have been around for quite a while now as purveyours of some of the finest pixel work. They've been getting a lot of attention recently for their Minipops quiz (Excel spreadsheet format) which is superb. When you get stuck then I've managed to fill the whole thing fully (finally) and the answers are here but don't cheat unless you get really, really stuck.

Some websites have started to report that there will be No Copy Protection On New Matrix DVD which I find amusing after last week's report about how to breach certain music cd protection by holding down the shift key when you insert the cd.

Lego Homer
My geeky fascination with Lego continues with this 4 ft tall Homer Simpson created using 10,000 pieces of Lego. My only complaint? Look at this picture and tell me that Homer drinks Newcastle Brown Ale - it should be a bottle of Duff & the other hand needs a D'oh!nut.

The famous Star Trek apartmentis up for sale on eBay at the moment. It costs about $2m but is in Leicester which ain't the prettiest city. The bloke who desgined it seems to have turned professional now.

Japanese people imitating album sleeves
This is fabulous! A large amount of the weirdest sites I come across on the web are Japanese. It might be that my inability to understand the language makes everything seem more bizarre but no words are needed to enjoy this site. Japanese people try to recreate their favourite album sleeve. The Aphex Twin and The Doors attempts are superb.

British Pathe online
3,500 hours of video, 12 million still images, 75 years of news reports go to make up the new online portion of British Pathe. If you want some classic images such as film of the Titanic setting sail, the Beatles on tv or pre-WWII footage of Hitler then this is where to go.

Take one dodgy Asian bootleg DVD of 'The Lord of the Rings - Two Towers' and subtitle it in bad Engrish and you have a classic movie - I certainly don't remember the line 'I say you got to toast me!' in the film.

Ok, I could pretend that there was a serious reason to post this but you wouldn't belive me anyway so here's a link to the 2003 Sexiest Gamer Awards. Notice the difference between the USA male entries (the link above and the UK entries - you's think we weren't taking it quite as seriously as they are! UK plans for ID "Entitilement" cards put on hold
GromBlog has been following the story about the civil liberty ignoring ID cards that Mr. "I've not got a clue" Blunkett wants us all to pony up £40 for.
Well it looks like it's been shelved (for the time being at least)
