Russian Prison Tattoos
Barbed wire
tattooed across the forehead signifies a sentence of life imprisonment without possibility of parole.
Or it signifies that you couldn't see what the tattooist was doing when you asked for a smiley face and the words "Have a Nice Day" putting on your forehead.
Mini-KISS - Kiss with midgets
Ever wondered what KISS would look like as midgets? Well, you don't have to strain your imagination too much anymore - just take a look at
Mini-KISS the midget KISS tribute band.
Adam Ant - Save the Gorilla
Proof that Adam Ant hasn't totally lost it (actually that's still debateable) - He's gone and produced a new version of his classic 'Stand and Deliver' in aid of Dian Fossey's Gorilla conservation charity. Watch him perform this classic (although somewhat unintentionally funny) version called
'Save the Gorilla'. Respect goes out to the nutter whereever he is now.
Judge caught masturbating in court
Not much more to this story other than a
Judge was caught ma5turbating in court. Do you need anything more?

Minipops quiz
Flipflopflyin have been around for quite a while now as purveyours of some of the finest pixel work. They've been getting a lot of attention recently for their
Minipops quiz (Excel spreadsheet format) which is superb. When you get stuck then I've managed to fill the whole thing fully (finally) and the answers are
here but don't cheat unless you get really, really stuck.
No Copy Protection On New Matrix DVD
Some websites have started to report that there will be
No Copy Protection On New Matrix DVD which I find amusing after last week's
report about how to breach certain music cd protection by holding down the shift key when you insert the cd.
playmobile sex
ok, before I go any further - this link is utterly
NSFW so don't go clicking if you'll get into trouble. That said, I showed this link a couple of weeks ago and since then have been constantly asked to post it. It's a little ruder than I normally post on here but I still find it quite funny (well, actually, it's more disturbing that someone spent the time to take the photos!).
Without further ado, have a look at
Playmobile figures and what they get up to when you're not looking. Marvel as they comb, shave, trim and then Wonder as an entire band gets lost, one at a time into the depths of ...well, a vag1na.
NSFW.
WEFAIL
Gorgeous design on this site by
WEFAIL. Not sure whether there is any point to this site other than to show off their design skills but that's good enough for me.
Lego Homer
My geeky fascination with Lego continues with this 4 ft tall
Homer Simpson created using 10,000 pieces of Lego. My only complaint? Look at
this picture and tell me that Homer drinks Newcastle Brown Ale - it should be a bottle of Duff & the other hand needs a D'oh!nut.
Would you risk this?
You'll need a lot of bottle (or stupidity) to have a go on
this roller-coaster at
Cedar Point. It's
awesome!

Celery + Gravity = Art
1950s America wasn't all apple pie and suburbia, it was about groceries (celery in particular) and knicker-elastic, and the shameful voyeurism of municipal workers. Don't believe me? Check out the
works of
Art Frahm to see what I'm talking about. (Raunchy in a retro kind of way, and reasonably SFW).
Ig Nobel winner scratches head in bemusement
One of the recent winners of this year's
Ig Nobel awards has expressed utter
bemusement as to why people find his research a laughing matter. His research was about why birds don't crap on every statue with the same amount of poo.

Star Trek apartment on eBay
The famous Star Trek
apartmentis up for sale on
eBay at the moment. It costs about $2m but is in Leicester which ain't the prettiest city. The bloke who desgined it seems to have turned
professional now.
Japanese people imitating album sleeves
This is fabulous! A large amount of the weirdest sites I come across on the web are Japanese. It might be that my inability to understand the language makes everything seem more bizarre but no words are needed to enjoy this site. Japanese people try to
recreate their favourite
album sleeve. The Aphex Twin and The Doors attempts are superb.
British Pathe online
3,500 hours of video, 12 million still images, 75 years of news reports go to make up the new online portion of
British Pathe. If you want some classic images such as film of the Titanic setting sail, the Beatles on tv or pre-WWII footage of Hitler then this is where to go.
(site is new and being hit very hard so be prepared for some slow loading times)

Engrish TTT Captions
Take one dodgy Asian bootleg DVD of 'The Lord of the Rings - Two Towers' and subtitle it in bad
Engrish and you have a classic movie - I certainly don't remember the line 'I say you got to toast me!' in the film.
Dodgy mp3z
It's a quiet day so have some
dodgy mp3z today courtesy of an old favourite
john's crawlspace (Caution - John's site links to a lot of NSFW stuff so watch what you click on)
Sexiest Gamer Awards
Ok, I could pretend that there was a serious reason to post this but you wouldn't belive me anyway so here's a link to the 2003
Sexiest Gamer Awards. Notice the difference between the USA male entries (the link above and the
UK entries - you's think we weren't taking it quite as seriously as they are! Anyway - enough of that - go stare at the lovely ladies and try to convince yourself that yes, beautiful girls do play games (no, I don't belive that they can actually play either!)
UK plans for ID "Entitilement" cards put on hold
GromBlog has been following the story about the civil liberty ignoring ID cards that Mr. "I've not got a clue" Blunkett wants us all to pony up £40 for.
Well it looks like it's been
shelved (for the time being at least)
Woo-yay!
