Class of '64
Another cool name to match all the others we've been collecting - we like him and you might like Wan Kin Too!
Cow Squashing Game
Wow! This has got to be the most bizarre game I've ever come across on the web. The controls are simple - like the old Track & Field game, you only need 2 fingers but boy, do you work them hard. All you have to do is get the cow through the door thereby squashing the lovely lady behind the door.
Surreal but sublime.
Two Shadow Monkeys
Just saw this amazing video of a shadow puppet trick of 2 monkeys being 'intimate' with each other. It certainly needed some manual dexterity to do.
grouphug.us // let it all out
Here's an interesting take on the idea of an online confessionals. Unlike the idea taken from Dogma (I think), this way of confessing doesn't grant you absolution, it's just the online equivalent of venting your spleen then getting a grouphug. Makes for some fascinating reading.
Teddy Toppling
It's both vindictive and cute - it's teddy-toppling!

More Stupid Names
More in the continuing theme of parents who should know better, here's a article about some of the recentstupid names that parentshave been giving their children.
Caught in the Park
This couple were well and truly Busted!
Great Big Stuff
Can you guess what they sell at Great Big Stuff? Yup, big stuff. Loads of it.
ScummVM - Beneath a Steel Sky
Remember the old LucasArts style point and click games? ScummVM is a program that lets you run them on a modern computer. Revolution Software have allowed the coders behind SCUMM to release the whole of the classic game Beneath a Steel Sky. Check out the screenshot section for a trip down memory lane looking at 'Sam and Max', 'Monkey Island', ' Day of the Tentacle' etc.

True plug-and-play
For that true 'plug and play' feeling you need the USB-powered, laptop-attaching 'peripheral' that vibrates on command.
Best Clients Quotes
Anyone who's had to do freelance work or worked for clients will readily acknowledge the pain that comes from having to actually talk to the clients. The Funjunkie guys have found this selection of the best Clients Quotes - it's funny 'cos it's true.
Personal Ad Of The Decade
As found in the Canberra Times, Personals section...
'Wanted:
A tall well built woman with good
reputation, who can cook frogs
legs, who appreciates a good fuc-
schia garden, classic music and tal-
king without getting too serious.
Interested? Then please only read
lines 1, 3 and 5; still interested?
Call me at..xxxxxxxxx. ;'
Family Guy - The Movie
w00t Yay! Seth MacFarlane has announced Family Guy - the movie. Looks like it may be a straight to DVD feature but anything's better than nothing.
Christian pickup lines
The perfect way to pick up God-Botherers is to use one of these Christian pickup lines.
Sample; '
My friend told me to come and meet you, He said that you're a really nice person. I think you know Him. Jesus, yeah that's His name.'

Chthulhu comics - in lego
The Great Squamous One is back, and this time in Lego Comic form. Ph'nglui Mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh Wgah'nagl Fhtagn!
2003 Rock Paper Scissors International Championships

More Half Life 2 news
Someone asked why it was bad that the HL2 code got nicked.
This is why.

Looks like I'll have to talk to my family this christmas.
Blaine's gone mad
The d00ds over at funjunkie went to visit David Blaine recently. I'd heard that he was scrawling all over the insid eof his box but they cleverly managed to work out what he was actually writing. Even more impressive is his talent at writing backwards.
On a related note, two weeks ago I reached the peak of my life when this site was listed number one on MSN search for 'David Blaine is a cu nt'. Unfortunately the interweb is a fickle place and I was a mere number 11 by last week.
Homemade Segway
Just found this article about a guy who's built his own 'Segway' scooter. You can check it out on his website. It looks similar except it was made from parts that have been available for years (old wheelchair parts etc) and is controlled by only 200 lines of code. Cool.

White Wolf sues
Although I still haven't seen it, its obvious from the trailers alone, that the film Underworld is highly derivative of the fabulous roleplay games Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse by White Wolf. Now it seems White Wolf are suing Sony Pictures over this very issue. Good for them!

Escher for Real
Previously I've posted about a guy who recreates Escher's impossible pictures out of Lego - now I've found another set of people who recreate them using CADCAM machinery to computer model & precision mill out Escher for Real pieces.
