The 100 Worst Porn Movie Titles !
I never realised that there were people out there who wouldn't be ashamed to call a movie 'Yank My Doodle, It's A Dandy'. This list of the 100 Worst Pr0n Movie Titles shows how misguided I was. Do they go home at night and tell their wives, 'we finished filming 'The 4nal Girls of Tobacco Road 2: Vag1na Slimes'' with pride (or even a straight face)?

Doctor Who to return
In case you hadn't heard yet - Doctor Who is going to return to the BBC for a new series. Don't get your hopes up - it's bound to suck.
Nice 'tache
This year's World Beard and Moustache Championships are about to take place in Nevade in November. Looking at these superb photos I know where I'm getting next week's buddy icons for trillian from.
W4nking machine
For when you just get too tired...
If you can't work out what this machine is for then keep scrolling down...
Mined Out
B3tan Gazchap has made a good variant on Minesweeper called Mined Out.
Looks simple but you'll waste hours on it.
Poor little kitty
Friday is b3ta day so here's the first link from there - Mantlepies' sick little animation - Poor little kitty.

1984 is one step closer
Afer Grom's blog of the scary FindMyFriends phone tracking system, I seem to keep finding more evidence of a Big Brother state here in the UK. For instance, the BBC is currently running two stories, one about smart tickets for London commuters, and another one about new digital tags on goods in shops. If the proposed ID card gets launched, they really will be watching you. Even when you're on the loo.
Breaking News - World Record Shattered!
David Blaine's got nothing on me - he takes 44 days to beat a non-existant record whilst I only need 24 hours to smash a record.
(Thanks Angus)
Eclectic Method
I haven't posted any bootlegs or 'mash-ups' as MTV have started calling them in a bid to make it seem like they invented them. Eclectic Method have been busy boys and have a few new video cut-ups to download - pick of the bunch for me has to be the Nerd vs The Coral mix.

Tack-O-Rama
Superb site - especially good as a resource for 40's, 50's and 60's images - Tack-O-Rama has an excellent set of Stock photos and free fonts mixed in with loads of other cool stuff.
HalfLife 2 delay confirmed
As expected by the entire gaming world, Valve have finally admitted what everyone else already knew - Half Life 2 won't be out until Xmas 2003 at the earliest.
Well, duh!

Australia foils trouser snake smuggler
The headline of the week goes to the good ol' BBC news site again, and actually, the story is worth reading too.
World Computer Virus Map
Quite an interesting thing here (If you're sadly geeky like me) - it's a Virus Map showing the spread of virus' (virii?) throughout the world. Cool.
RIAA admit they got wrong person but insist they will 'keep an eye' on the 66 yr old granny The RIAss of America have screwed up again. This time they've had to withdraw a lawsuit against a 66 yr old granny who they accused of downloading over 2,000 songs such as 'I'm a Thug' by Trick Daddy. They have admitted that they were mistaken but stated that they will 'reserve the right to refile the complaint against Mrs. Ward if and when circumstances warrant'. Which is legal speak for 'just because you haven't broken the law this time doesn't mean that you won't so we'll be watching and we'll keep this supoena handy'.
Idiots.
Microsoft to Shut Down Chat Rooms - admit to being losers
I take a certain amount of pleasure in reading that Microsoft have shut down their Chat Rooms in virtually every country.
As one of the team who set up one of this countries largest chat systems (Freeserve chat), I'm also smug that we've been internationally quoted as saying 'Chickens!'.

FindMyFriends - Big Brother is watching you
FindMyFriends is a new, evil service made by money-grabbing corporate wh0res who want to sell you a service whereby you can find out where anyone is at any time by triangulating the signal from their mobile phone. Of course they justify it by saying that you can only track people by 'inviting' them first.
As usual they're defending it by the old 'Will nobody think of the children!' cry to try to alarm parents.
evil fcukers.
:: Pixelgirl Presents Icons and Desktop Images ::
A brilliant collection of Icons and Desktop Images from PixelGirl. My favourite is this amazing dead robot image.
Tarantado ka Putang-ina mo!
The title is soemthing very rude in the language of Tagalog - very handy if you want to learn how to swear in foreign languages from Afrikaans to Yiddish. I'm off to Gayn Cacken Ofn yam!
Student cuts off own knob
In the search for a cheap high, a student in Germany has found the reason why cheapest isn't always best after the cut his own tongue & knob off after drinking a tea made from 'Angel's Trumpets'.

Cool Contact Lens
I've seen some amazing contact lens in the dodgy clubs I used to frequent but check out the flame-jobs on the 'Flames' set from 9mmsfx lens.
Happy Tree Friends - in your own home! You may remember Grom's semi-recent blogging of the violently cute Happy Tree Friends, a net cartoon by Mondo Media, of cutesy wabbits etc meeting grisly ends. Well now you can get it on DVD, and next week, it will be available in the UK too. Cool!
That'll teach 'em
Hidden Agenda is a contest to program a stealth education game. i.e. a game for kids where they don't realise that they're learning.

I like this idea, partly because computer games can be so much more than just entertainment, but mostly I want to spend my working hours "testing" Quake IX - algebra edition (or similar) instead of working out why office is screwed _again_.
Play the Blaine Game
Demonstrate your hatred/apathy of David 'Even an IRA hunger-striker could beat me' Blaine by playing the Blaine game - the ending's great.
Speak n Spell
Last time I checked this site, the author hadn't yet managed to sample his Speak n' Spell - looks like he's cracked it now - he's got the entire machine reproduced in Flash. Cool.

The Power of 10
From 10 million light years away, zoom in until you reach the earth, then onward until you're face to face with a single quark in an atom. Its pretty hard to describe, so better see for yourself. Never has zooming-in been so impressive, humbling and of course educational.
Standing Room only
A Turkish mayor has announced plans to dig up all the bodies in his cemetery and rebury them standing up to make more room. In unrelated news, the special effects unit of Troma have temporarily moved to Turkey. (Troma link contains some NSFW images)
