Star Wars guitars
Finally a Star Wars licence that is actually quite decent. Even if the artwork isn't up your street then the guitars are quality. I'd be tempted by the Stormtrooper model (if I could play guitar that is)
Paul Really Is Dead
Apparently Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by a lookalike. Which explains Linda, Heather, the decision to let Ringo sing on Yellow Submarine and the entire Wings output.
Someone needs an editor
From the Guinness Book of records website comes this atrocious bad taste record which only gets worse when you notice the 'Break this Record' button!
More unfortunate domain names
Find a Therapist - not a rapist at www.therapistfinder.com
Find a new home - not a Ho at professional-ho.co.nz
and finally, there is really no excuse for the travel company to not realise that poo.co.uk might not be an appropriate domain name.
Anyone for a cheap Volvo?
The shipwreck 'Tricolor' was holding over 3,500 luxury cars when she was wrecked. Adam Curry managed to jump in a helicopter and take some photos of the salvage operation afterwards. Check out his awesome photos of the sawn-in-half ship with cars hangning out of it. Truly amazing.

Shh!
Shhh!
It's a secret!
(thanks Angus)
Not quite so knoby
But still, why would you want this costume?
Sinclair - 'Move over Segway, I'm planning the C6'
Hot on the heels of my earlier link to the Sinclair C5 eBay auction, it seems that ginger genius Sir Clive Sinclair is planning a machine to better the Segway. It's unsurprisingly going to be called the ...wait for it...
C6.
Speed Cameras in West Yorkshire - where they are
If you drive in West Yorkshire, UK at all then you'll like the way that the West Yorkshire Police are so helpful that they'll even tell you where they're sticking all the speed cameras (even the temporary ones - scroll to the bottom). Handy to know.
eBay item - SINCLAIR C5 with accessories
Proving that they were built to last - a SINCLAIR C5 is up on eBay at the moment and going for a fairly easonable (for a working model) £584 currently. If (Sir) Clive Sinclair hadn't been born ginger then he might have been destined for even more greatness - isn't fate cruel?
ASCII rock videos
Any excuse to listen to Judas Priest's classic 'Breaking the Law' is welcome but here you can watch the video in ASCII too, along with other rock acts like Motley Crue, ACDC and Led Zepplin. It's just a shame the person who did these saved them as movie files instead of streaming ascii as the files are rather large.

The Sad truth about Spam
Some proof has come to light about how profitable the murky world of email Spam is. I've seen stats before on the amount of responses that spam gets but those figures showed that only 2 replies out of abou t2 million mails still made the process profitable. This guy was far more successful than that and received our 6000 orders of his pen1s wnlargement pills in just four weeks. Nice work if you can get it (and are lower than pond scum in the evolutionary scale).
Benny Benassi - Satisfaction
You might have heard the track Satisfaction by Benny Benassi on the radio recently. It's not my type of music but I was surprised by the video - doubt you'll be seeing that on tv before the watershed. Extreme Powertool action (caution maybe NSFW)
WTF?
Utterly weird photo of a complete knob. This outfit clearly took far too much time to make. I wonder if he pulled at the party?

one for the teenage boys
What do you get if you cross the Dance-Dance Revolution games with Lara Crofts crippling-back-pain-in-later-life proportions?

Frontal Assault that's what.

Probably NSFW (well playing it is NSFW, but the website only has CGI bikini clad b00bies)
Formula One - Ralph docked 10 places in next race
Ralph Schumacher has been blamed for the incident at last week's Hungarian Grand Prix and the stewards have decided to force him to drop down the grid by ten places from wherever he ends up qualifying. Obviously he's going to appeal the decision.
Human Blood Batteries
No, this isn't a story from The Matrix, scientists in Japan have found a way to convert blood glucose in to a rechargeable source of power that could be used to power a 100 watt lightbulb.

(can be somewhat erratic at times)
The Real effect of file-swapping
This BBC news report on pirating music is interesting but the telling sentence explaingin the decline in sales of cds is 'According to the RIAA's own figures, over the last two years the US music industry has produced 25% fewer CDs. '.
...and yet the amount that sales have dropped by is a substantial amount less. Doesn't take a genius to do the maths.
Return of the King Trailer
The trailer for the final part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy - Return of the King - has been leaked onto t'interweb. and is available from the link above.
LEGO SERIOUS PLAY
This made me laugh. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is an attempt to sell Lego as a management tool for developing strategies, planning an project management. Or, if you're as cynical as me, it's a good opportunity to read a load of buzzwords whilst looking at photos of earnest looking businessmen playing with Lego.

Stereo Images
Here's an odd idea - Stereo Images created by putting the left and right images alternating in an animated gif. It actually works quite well but the end results are quite odd.
Best Headstone Ever?
Is this the best headstone ever? Mind you, it's only competition is probably this one with it's odd sentiment.
