Stressed out
Having had to take the day off yesterday, due to general stress related insomnia, I returned to work refreshed and raring to go. However
this stress test leads me to believe I need a couple of months off.
Read all instructions carefuly.
Thanks Dan
Storm's a comin'
For those that don't know, I'm currenty exiled to Norfolk, where the above is often said in a mysterious "I know more about life than you ever wil because I'm all rustic and farmer-y" however I can now wreak my techno revenge via the
UK Storms web site (enter and click "Live Lightning Data")
The office
OK,
The Office is one of the best comedy series ever but it rally annoys me that when they only ever show the danceing clip - OK it was funny, but hardly the high point of the series. Having sadi that, this
making of the office. David Brents famous dance. made me laugh. I shall now get off my soap box

Mooo-pfffffft-thud
Is this the worst way to
shuffle off the mortal coil?
Nessie - RIP?
Could this skeleton of a plesiosaur really be the
remains of the legendary
Loch Ness Monster? (Ah, the good ol' BBC, thanks again for another interesting news story.)
Thailand cuts short the age of Ragnarok
No, this isn't about Norse mythology, its about the Nanny State controlling people's
gaming habits. Aparrently gaming is so addictive that it has to be controlled by the Government! This is news to me... (Does that make me a cyber-drug manufacturer? I hope so, 'cause that makes my job sound really cool!)

Drugged man cuts off pen1s and eats it
The 34-year-old claimed he only realised what he had done when he saw blood oozing from his crotch, said a police spokesman.
Wow. Read that last sentence again - 'The man claimed he only realised when he saw blood oozing'. Those were some drugs he was taking!

Care for a

You never know when it might be useful.
Well it

SomedaySlightly more useful (if a tad on the large size at 10GB uncompressed) is the database of the data on those sites.
New-Old Bailey
The Proceedings of the Old Bailey, is a searchable catalouge of proceedings that took place at the old bailey between 1674 and 1834.
100,000+ of them!
The searches are very configurable, so if you want to find out what the average punishment handed down by the beak to those who stood acused of "vagabonding" was, or how many people were sentanced to "Death: Hanging in Chains" in 1714 then it's only a few clicks away
Pri.me.uk is on a go-slow
I'm travelling about quite a bit until next week and will be away from my computer so I doubt I'll be able to update the site for about a week. In the meantime I'll have to leave you guys in the capable hands of our contributing editors, Popcorn, Kaye & Al. If there aren't many updates and you're bored then play with other stuff on this page - look in the archives, search for random words or go to random links using the buttons in the right hand window.

Mooning Amtrak Trains
Last Saturday was the 25th
Annual Mooning of Amtrak in California. Yep, that's right it's a 'tradition' to show yer butt to passing trains every year. We can't do it in Britain - no-one could stand to bend over for the half hour in would take for a GNER or Virgin train to pass by.

Flesh or Food?
I scored 8 put of 10 on the

Caption Thing
It's a page full of photos of people holding blank pieces of paper up which you can
add a caption to. It's more fun than it
sounds. (NB: their server is getting hit quite hard at the moment so you may not be able to get through if it is - just try again later)
