Sexxx or Something else?
The latest b3tan to make a quiz is Artamnesia - his Sexxx or Something else? quiz requires you to guess from a facial expression whether someone's having sex or doing something else?
These quizzes just keep getting better!
Are you a timid little puppy?
If you're a meek, timid little wimp but wish you could assert yourself more then why not try the spark.com's Burn Maker. Simply paste the text that you want to make more aggressive into the top box & see the fired up version below.
The Eighties Tarot
Combine your love of Alison Moyet, The Cocteau Twins, Ferris Bueller & the occult with the eighties tarot pack. Predictably, Robert Smith is Death. Very nice work though.
Guide Horses for the Blind
If you're blind AND don't like dogs, don't worry - get a guidehorse. (I though this was a joke originally but sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction - it seems to be genuine!)

Keanu Rocks
Talk about generosity! Keanu Reeves is reportedly giving £50 MILLION from his share of the profits of the Matrix films to the behind-the-scenes special fx teams. Bearing in mind that he's estimated to be getting £70million in total then he's being more than generous. It also sounds like most of the rest of his money will be going to leukemia charities.
The Credit Card Prank
I've often wondered what the point of signing credit card slips since no-one ever checks them. In the Credit Card Prank, John Hargrave decided to see how far he could push it before anyone noticed. I particularly like him signing his name with pictures or with the name of 'I Stole This Card'!.
Build your own Cruise Missile
For only $5000, a New Zealand-based scientist is building a Cruise Missile with parts mostly sourced from eBay. Both interesting and worrying. (I bet he can't program his video recorder though).

Buy your own ghost!
Proof of the afterlife, or just proof that you can buy just about anything on ebay? (Be sure to check out the highly dubious pictures.)

On top of the world (literally)
Ever wondered what the view might be like from the highest mountain? Well, now you can see for yourself with this spectacular 360 degree panorama taken from the top of Mount Everest. Breathtaking!
More techno Art
There's a good mix of technology/art at artbots. There are some nice ideas there (small work for insects and robots looks particularly interesting). I was disapointed that the scratchbot was offline, but it doesn't matter there's instructions for building your own on their home page

Shivers me timbers
Anyone want to go halves on an aircraft carrier?
Hello Jesus
Half Carpenter, half Messiah - Hello Jesus is the fish-making, water-walking, not staying dead (even after being nailed to a tree) rival to Hello Kitty.
Now with even more added pages (in full holy-Technicolor).

Infrared Zoo
The Infrared Zoo Gallery is cool if only for the fact that it has infrared photos of monkeys. They're all purple!!
Japanese Guttural font
Speaking of Guttural noises - here's a font for PC or Mac especially for doing Japanese guttural noises. Limited use but still very cool for artwork/cd covers and there are loads and loads of other very cool futuristic/graphic design/Manga/Japanese-influenced fonts on the main site.
Wurrrg
'Let's see... the main character is going to be attacked from behind.
Now, what should he say... 'What the'? 'Ulk'? 'Glkk'? I know! 'Wurrrg'!'
Nnggnn, Urk, Mmnhhh and other guttural moans from comics. Even the index is funny!
Whoa - nice Flash!
Here's a fantastic site done entirely in Flash - xiiin is a Japanese site but apart from that I can't tell you anything even though the site had me mesmerised for over 15 minutes. I won't even attempt to describe it but if you have a few minutes spare then get on over and click about - you'll thank me later.
360 degree panoramas
I've been waiting to blog this for a long time but the site has been so busy that there was no point as you wouldn't have got through before. Finally the rush seems to have quietened down so have a look at the 360 degree panoramas available on this site - to start you off check out the most popular one of a 360 degree panorama from the top of Mt Everest. (needs Quicktime VR)
Cat Clothes
After seeing numerous sites like this cat clothing site, you've got to wonder whether the Japanese only keep pets in order to taunt them.

How dodgy are you?
According to the 'How dodgy are you?' quiz, I'm due for 66 years in prison & a £7000 fine.
I'm innocent I tell you!
Hippy To Punk In A Day.
Dogbomb is a man after my own heart. (but not in a gay way!) I've posted stuff from his site before but his latest escapade had me laughing out loud at work again. This time, he cuts his own hair and sells the leftovers on eBay (currently up to £17!)
Abandonware Games :
Abandonware is a term used to denote software that is obsolete or just isn't supported anymore (normally because the copyright owner has declined to enforce copyright). Abandonware Games is a site to get loads of old games for free - Secret of Monkey Island anyone?.
If those don't float your boat or you don't want to download and install then check out the Java Arcade for free online games. (Caution: don't do this at work unless your boss is away for a couple of hours - you will get addicted )
Write yer own games
Ever wanted to write your own games but aren't geeky enough to be any good at coding? You can still write decent computer games using a GCK (game creation kit) here's an article onAuthoring games for fun or just go straight here for a list of resources.
Tinchilla - Instant Can Cooler
After the superb aquarterof website that I blogged last week, today I bring you American sweets & other cult classics from Cybercandy - featuring my new favourite gadget (mostly because of the name) Tinchilla - the Instant Can Cooler.
Salam's story
A lot of bloggers (including myself) have been following Salam Pax's story with interest. It's a complicated story but the basics are that an anonymous man (Salam) in Baghdad set up a blog to talk to his friend (called Raed) but soon, lots of other people were hooked on the inside story of someone living in Baghdad with a war looming. There were stories that it was a hoax and some people had difficulty believing that anyone could openly admit to being gay in Iraq. Eventually Salam was tracked down and the best news of all is that the English newspaper, the Guardian, have hired him to keep writing. Kudos to the Guardian for doing this.
Even if, like me, you have little interest or patience for war, it is a fascinating read. Give it a try.
3rd Annual Nigerian EMail Conference
Not getting enough responses from your Nigerian email scam? Maybe you should attend the 3rd Annual Nigerian EMail Conference to get some more hints on using UPPERCASE TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK YOUR MAIL IS IMPORTANT or on the 45% increase in effectiveness that 87% of people can acheive by making up 95% of statistics.
symbolify - a Google Image hack
This is a fun little Google hack - symbolify lets you enter words or sentences which it displays as the results of a google image search -simple but fun.
You've gotta love geeks
One thing I love about the geek world is the urge (or need in some cases) to apply technology to things that it wasn't designed for. If it involves alcohol even better.
So with summer slowly getting here, I give you peltier beer (now with power over ethernet)

Nascar women Photoshop competition
One of the best photoshop competitions I've come across lately has been this onon Fark.com. There are even a couple of pretty subtle ones - I'm still laughing 5 minutes after seeing this entry (which won't make sense unless you've seen the original first.
