The Auto Suck
I found this today which has spread around our office like wildfire.
'Plugs into car lighter!
Hit the road for some real action--hot rod style! Cruise along with one hand on the wheel an the other on the auto suck'
I'm lost for words! (caution NSFW)
Inappropriate Fancy Dress
As far as inappropriate Fancy Dress goes, the Pimp Daddy Child's Costume is up there as a winner!
mint : by tomsk
Another B3ta boarder has been picked up by MTV - congrats to Tomsk and expect to see mint on a tv near you soon.
Traffic Light Wars
Another talented B3ta boarder, Koit, has made a site called Traffic Light Wars which shows what happens to the little people who live inside traffic lights when you're not looking.
Mad Domo World
Most of you will have at least seen a picture of Domokun before. He's the odd Japanese character that lots of net-heads are obsessed with. A b3ta.com memeber called fnord has made a great movie using clips of Domokun and a fantastic version of Tears for Fears' 'Mad World' from the movie 'Donnie Darko'. (needs Realplayer)
o-o-o-< G R O M >-o-o-o
Nothing to do with me, honest. GROM the game has just been released. Lucky it's not about me - who'd want to play a game about a geek working on computers, surfing all day - I guess you'd win by finding the most obscure website in the world!
Mr Snoozleberg
time for some silly games for a Friday lunchtime - Goodnight Mr. Snoozleberg is a really addictive, hard game where you have to keep a sleepwalker from waking up (it's really similar to the old Sleepwalker game on the Amiga that I wasted a lot of time on when I was on the dole after Uni!)

Hen na gaijin
...(meaning 'I'm a strange foreigner'). Jlist is a good resource for all things unusual and Japanese - just have a look at their t-shirt list.
Teenage girl defeats hacker
Full marks to Danielle Athi for having the intelligence to get back at the hacker who stole her dad's credit card details.
Make your own Jerry Springer script
Write Your Own Jerry Springer Script:
Female
Male
Kylie Kitten Killing
Help Kylie to stop Killing Kittens in this cool flash game.
'Drop Knickers Not Bombs'
Wweird and wonderful banner slogans from the Stop the War rally in London last week. There are some hilarious ones on here.
The Pee test
Time to prove to the ladies quite how hard it is to pee standing up. Lads - it's good to practise. Girls' - now you cna tell how hard it is.

Springsteen - the Working Man's hero
Another backstage rider from thesmokinggun.com - Bruce Springsteen has clearly decided that the "working man's hero" tag doesn't matter that much if his sax player can get caviar & a whole roasted chicken delivered to his dressing room mid-show
Tread 'Caerphilly' now
Cheesiest headline I could think of! Noah Kelly, a magician, is going to do a spoof version of David Blaine's ice-block trick by spending 48 hrs entombed in cheese.
DJ FORMAT
After the positive feedback from yesterday's Johnny Cash video, here's another current favourite of mine from DJ FORMAT - it's a good song but a superb video.
I need money to buy this
Potter's Museum of Curiosity is selling up & I need Mummified baboon hands, 4 legged chickens, ferret muzzles, warthog tusks and carved emu eggs. There's an amazing assortment of oddities & curiosities - just have a look at the inventory, unfortunately the closing date for bids is 28th Feb so you'd better hurry up!
(many, many thanks to Sarah for this one)

WTF!?!?
I can't even begin to describe 60X1.COM - just go there and keep looking for the 'enter' buttons on each page to take you to the next until...
(well, I have no idea - I usually give up before then but I've got a short attention span).
If that's too much then why not visit the main site of Kenneth Tinkin (the insane creator of the site) - he's got some good links to some weird sites.
Love Cubes
Love Cubes is an online version of an old boardgame created by photographer Martin Parr. All you have to do ismatch the couples. Bonus points for not laughing at any of the outfits.
Parking Spots
From the FAQ:
Q: I don`t get it?
A: What is there to get? People take photographs of toy cars next to real cars.
It's rather cool.
Skirting the Truth
Is the latest Japanese fad really see-thru skirts or is this jsut a well-done hoax? I wouldn't be surprised but would you wear one?
Experiment turns into spam nightmare
Just to show how naive some net users still are (& please note that she was an AOL user!), a teenager in the States has started a chain letter to research the reach of email. Obviously she was spammed to oblivion within days.
Duh!
Johnny Cash - Hurt
I've always been a massive fan of Johnny Cash. I know that doesn't quite fit with my image but there ya go - I'm just one big mess of contradictions. Anyway, at the age of 70 Johnny has just released a cover verison of Nine Inch Nails' 'Hurt'. It's quality stuff - the video has lots of images of him throughout his 50 year career - check it out (needs real player)
"I Want to be thinner!"
How do you manage to get crushed by a steam roller?
It's a shame that there aren't any photos - I know that sounds sick but all I have in my head are images from old Roadrunner cartoons.

Donkey Kong JR.
Wow - I used to own one of these when I was probably 13 or 14 I guess (that's over half a lifetime ago now!). The person who made this online version of Donkey Kong Jr. has very patiently scanned in all of the original images to make it look just like the original - it even plays as badly.
Streakers Hall of Fame
Ugly, naked people often desire more public recognition - the only way they can become famous for being naked is to interrupt public sporting events. The Streakers Hall of Fame documents a huge array of naked people with police helmets covering the bits of them that you really don't want to see.
Kansas Drug Tax
Kansas politicians obviously believe that if you can't win the drug war, then you'd better make some money out of it. Illegal drugs are now taxable items even though they're illegal. I guess this way they can arrest you twice over for possession.
180 Computer Monitor
Want the full immersive experience on your pc? Try the 180 Computer Monitor for that full-on sensurround feeling. Bet it makes you dizzy!
Blogging Goes Big-Time
Probably only of interest to me but google have bought Pyra - the company who make blogger - the software that makes this site work.

Playing With Time
Playing With Time is an amazing website that collects time-lapse movies made from stills or video in one handy to use site. Everything from animations showing 7000 years of change to the blink of an eye.
