More lego insanity
This guy has built a full-size lego
Harpsichord which actually plays! He used 100,000 peices (and probably doesn't have a girlfriend!)
Guess the waxworks
Blackpool isn't renowned for its high quality entertainment but their waxworks take the p1ss - can you tell who
these are supposed to be?
"Does that make me gay"
Especially for my missus (who , for anyone who hasn't had the honour, is constantly accusing me of being gay) - here's a funny site about one man's dilemma -
"does that make me gay?". And for reference, I, unfortunately, actually told my wife that I scored 68% on the
gay test.
I Used to Believe...
Up until I was ten I thought that babies were born wearing a knitted bobble hat and a cardigan. Girls had pink and boys had blue - which is how their mummy's knew what sex they were when they popped out
Independent Woman - played by kittens
Personally, I think this is Joel Veitch's best effort yet. Remember the punk kittens, the viking kittens, the surfing kittens & the White Stripe kittens? Well, now it's the turn of the Xylophone playing, flat-cap wearing kittens playing
Independent Woman . Sheer Genius.

J K Travel
I appreciate that this might only be of minority interest but a couple of my friends (actually friends of friends but they're dead nice ppl) are travelling around the world for a year & are keeping a
Travelog of their journey which I highly recommend that you visit. The most freakiest thing is their uncanny ability to be able to find cybercafes & be able to upload movies halfway up mountains in India. It's a very cool site - I'll put a permanent link on the right hand bar of here so visit regularly for a dose of jealousy.
Dolphin Sex
Unfortunately it does what
it says on the tin. Quite why anyone would want to know this info is beyond me but it takes
allsorts.
vnunet.com £250 Lindows PCs slated for UK
If you're in the market for a cheap Linux box then you could try Evesham's
£250 Lindows PCs . Let me know how you get on though - I'm still not sure who this is supposed to appeal to.
Olivia Newton-John Wine
From the vineyards of Xanadu,
Olivia by Olivia - Koala Blue Wines is her own brand wine - I can only hope it tastes of nectar as sweet as her!
Operation: Chop Stick
I actually prefer
this fan tribute to the Xiao Xiao stickmen animations to the link below. It is far more like what I've come to expect.
Extreme Stick Death - Xiao Xiao 9 (Demo)
I hope this does get improved before it is officially released as the new
Xiao Xiao stickmen animation is good but doesn't show the same class that the first ones did.
The Bank of Time
The
Bank of Time is a screensaver that needs a net connection as it shows plants growing using time-lapse photography. You can pick whichever plants you wish (funnily enough I see over half the users have cannabis sativa growing on their screens!). It's hypnotic to watch even if you can't see much happen.

Town specializes in unfriendly street names
This is great - next I expect we'll be seeing police stations on
Letsbe Avenue! (sorry that was an appalling joke but an irresistible one).
Spam Takes New Form
It had never occured to me until I read
this article that you could spam people this easily. It easily stoppable but even my mother could spam people using this method!
the overdose game
Here's a cheery thing for you all - play the
overdose game. It's edumacational.
FOLD-A-BOWL
Mecanno pipes for
stoners. Like they could ever assemble one in time - I bet this product is sponsored by the police!
Naughty, naughty
I don't approve of sites like
this or
this or any other site where you can download loads of software for free. People really should buy their own software. Please don't go there - you have been warned. ;)
Run, Fat Boy, Run
Fat Boy has escaped from his captors,
help him flee from their inhumane experiments.
What's wrong with this picture?
I'll give you a clue. I don't think George Bush's literacy program
worked on him.
Virtual Paper Aeroplanes
Here's a good idea for designing paper aeroplanes - a virtual
flight simulator for them. On a side note - can someone please tell me the difference betwenn airplane and aeroplane please?
Unreal® Tournament 2003
Not sure how I forgot about this but
Unreal® Tournament 2003 came out a couple of days ago. My copy is on order already. Amazingly enough, there is already a good-looking Star Wars
mod being developed for it. These geeks don't waste time do they?

NASA-TV
Streaming data straight from space as part of the
Human Space Flight program.
Northern Irish version of Sesame Street
After the announcement of an HIV character in the South African version of Sesame Street, the producers have said that they thinking of doing a special
Irish version presumably to be called "I know where you live"!
Celebriducks for the Connoisseur
From the 'We're running really, really short on ideas' Dept. (or maybe the 'We've had too many drugs' Dept!)
Celebriducks are ducks that look like celebrities - why would you want one?
Welding Helmets
For when you want people to know you're a bad-assed
welder. I expect Slipknot will be wearing them next tour.

Smalltown, Michigan
I know I'm really, really immature but
this made me laugh - you'd have thought they would have at least changed the name of the Baseball team!
Google Fight
More fun with Google - Make a fight with
Googlefight.
Introducing the Bobbit
I wonder if he gets a
cut of the profits?
Escher's Lego
It seems to me that I post more Lego links than any other kind - it's not that I particularly like Lego, I guess it's just more of a geek thing & they happen to be the same poeple who do a lot of websites. Anyway, here's a guy who has done
Escher's "Ascending and Descending" in LEGO as well as the
balcony illusion & the famous image,
Belvedere.
Google Zeitgeist
Think I may have posted this link before but if not, here it is again. Google have a page tucked away which is worth a look every now and again, it's called the
Zeitgeist page & shows you the most popular searches by country and other interesting facts.
I've also just done a GIS (Google Image Search) on 'send in the nuns' (don't ask why!) and got this classic
image as well as
this one. God, Monday mornings are tedious!
huh?
Our creative team will come up with ideas you never even thought of. How could you? You don't have the talent we do. Don't take it personally. That's our job. That's what we do. We do stuff.
huh?
Levitated
Lots of interesting stuff on
this site - nothing individual to pick out -just go and click some links...
The Age Gauge
Put your Date of Birth in here and see
what happens.
